OUR KITCHEN

We are happy to accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements your child may have.

We pride ourselves on offering delicious, fresh nutritious food. Our fruit and vegetables are delivered weekly, and all our cooking supplies are locally sourced when possible.
 
Our cook Ciara manages our kitchen and cook’s meals from scratch every day using fresh ingredients to produce meals which are both tasty and wholesome.

MiniMinds Provides:


  • Breakfast – Toast and fruit
  • Snacks – fruit, yogurts, sandwiches, wholemeal breads, rolls, soups and other various morning and afternoon snack options.
  • Dinner – Dinners are freshly cooked daily in our HACCP approved kitchen.


MiniMinds has a three-week rolling menu which is available on our app.


Although all snacks are provided, we ask that children bring in a drink and snack daily. This is to support the development of independence particularly for children getting ready to transition to primary school. MiniMinds practitioners feel it is important to teach children to manage their own lunchboxes, opening and closing bags / boxes etc. 

Here in MiniMinds we promote healthy nutritional choices for our children. We feel it is important at this young age to introduce and educate our children about good nutrition and the health benefits of eating well.


We provide healthy meals and snacks freshly prepared and cooked on the premises.


Snack time will be enjoyed as socialisation and interaction are encouraged.


We do not allow fizzy drinks, sweets, chocolate, crisps, nuts or nut spreads.

Water and their own drinks are available to children throughout the day.


Menus are reviewed and changed on a regular basis to ensure a varied range of food choices for the children.


We do not serve Desserts.


Processed meat products are kept to a minimum of one serving per week.


Healthier cooking methods are used e.g. grilling, oven cooked. No food is fried.
