MiniMinds has five classrooms caring for children 2 – 5 years old. Every room is laid out into clearly defined areas to ensure all the children’s needs and interests are met. These are:

TODDLER ROOM
Designed with learning in mind
Our Toddler Room has developed a child-centred curriculum where children are encouraged to explore, experiment, create, imagine, interact and ultimately to learn through play. Our staff will encourage your toddler's curiosity as well as promoting social, emotional, and physical development. At this age children start to participate in activities for longer periods of time, such as listening to stories, playing games, and taking part in arts and crafts. Through stories songs and games, children further learn to appreciate language, gain new vocabulary, and use new words and concepts. Simple songs and games are important introduction to speech patterns, sensory motor skills, development, and movement skills.
Toddler Room Details
Toddlers are introduced to a more structured play and learning environment based on their individual needs.
Vocabulary increases greatly at this stage and our activities, and play based Curriculum are designed to combine learning and development with a world of play.
In the Toddler Room, children will begin to develop friendships and, in this process, start to learn the concept of sharing.
Some of the activities in the Toddler Room are Creative Play, Role Play, Physical Play, Outdoor Play, Constructive Play, Music & Song, Imaginative Play, Drama, Sensory Play, Story Telling & Rhyme.
Toilet training can begin anytime from the age of two onwards. This is totally dependent on when your child is ready to take this big step in their development. When you feel the time is right, we will work with you to make toilet training for your child as simple as possible.
Parent are given regular updates through the Teach Kloud app. This is a free app for all children in MiniMinds and offers a means by which parents can receive up to date information on their child’s day.
ECCE - Preschool
Designed with learning in mind
We have four ECCE Preschool rooms in MiniMinds. In our ECCE Preschool rooms children will be fully emerged in a play-based curriculum which is slightly more structured but is also child friendly and child lead. MiniMinds strive to provide all children with a solid foundation on which to build his or her primary education and ease transition from pre-school to primary level education. MiniMinds provides an environment where play and learning go hand in hand. Children are offered opportunities for:
